Holiday Season Could Usher in Covid Passports

Proof of a negative Covid test is already part of international travel and it’s looking like ‘Covid Passports’ could well become the norm for crossing the channel. The UK government is looking at digital certificates and the Europeans have announced similar plans. Officials on both sides of the channel are hoping that these ‘Covid passports’ will be in place before the summer tourist season.

2020 Reflections

We have all been impacted by terrible times in 2020. Anglers have lost friends, families have lost loved ones and almost all of us have lost time and money. I have lost my beautiful life partner Shirley to cancer and Angling France has lost its much loved founder. This article is dedicated to Shirley and all those who have lost loved ones this year.

New Mill - Now Fully Stocked For 2021

Well over 100 carp have recently been stocked at New Mill, so the carp lake is now brimming with fish. The known fish in this brand new venue now include a huge head of 30s and at least 5 confirmed 40s, one of which is expected to top 50lb early next year.

North Lake Carp Stock - First Batch Delivered

North Lake is shaping up to be an exciting new venue for 2021. It has recently received its first delivery of carp and it there are more to come. Philip Anderson took the lake apart in terms of big carp during his family fishing holiday. Philip and his son James landed 18 carp with a whopping average size of 38lb. Carp Fishing Year Review 2015

In 2015 Oakview Lake welcomed 102 guests, including 64 anglers. Most fished days only, they caught 367 carp, including 33 x 40s, 178 x 30s and 132 x 20s. The average carp size was 33lb.
