Here's what we agree to agree on when you book a carp fishing holiday in France with Angling France.
What and When to Pay
A deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking. The deposit must be received within 7 days of your booking request and is non-refundable. If the deposit is not received within 7 days, we will consider the booking as cancelled.
The full sum (less the deposit paid) becomes due 10 weeks in advance of your holiday date, and you will be advised of the exact date once your deposit is received. We are happy to arrange a schedule of stage payments with you if required.
If you book less than 10 weeks before the date of your holiday, you must pay the total cost of your holiday at the time of booking.
If full payment is not received by us on or before the due day, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and re-advertise the week(s) as available.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your confirmed booking less than 10 weeks before the start of your holiday, you will forfeit all monies paid.
If you cancel your confirmed booking more than 10 weeks before the start of your holiday date, we reserve the right to retain all monies paid to date. However, if we are able to re-sell the cancelled week at the same price, any money paid by you (less the non-refundable deposit) will be refunded, subject to the re-booked week being fully paid for and completed by the new booking group.
Travel
All travel arrangements to and from the lake are your responsibility. We do not accept any responsibility for any disruption, howsoever caused, to your travel arrangements.
Important Note
Travelling to and from venues and holiday insurance are not included in any of our prices. You'll find lots of good information on our website. We can't stress enough the importance of having good insurance cover for travel and health. These types of cover are not expensive, but getting sick, having an accident or a car break down can cost you dear.
BREXIT - Things we know so far
Lots of uncertainty still, but according to an article published by the BBC on 18th November 2020, here are some things we already know will change on 1st January:
- You must have at least 6 months left on your passport
- European Health Insurance Card no longer be valid - you should consider travel insurance with health cover
- Check whether your driving documents are valid. You may need additional documents
- Check whether your pet passport is valid. Ask your vet about the latest guidance 4 months before travel
- Check with your mobile provider to see if free roaming still applies
- Check what you can bring and take back. new customs rules will apply
Group Numbers
The number of people included in your group is fixed at the time of booking. No additions to the number in your group can be accepted unless agreed with us in advance before the start of your holiday.
Liability
We are not liable for any temporary defect, disruption or stoppage in the supply of local public services such as water and electricity supplies, or any loss, damage or injury which is caused as a result of adverse weather conditions or other matters beyond our control. Under no circumstances will our liability to you exceed the amount paid to us for your holiday.
Lakes are primarily a fishing venues and are not necessarily suitable for young children. Groups bringing children under 16 do so at their own risk and they should be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
Complaints
The enjoyment of your stay is of the highest importance to us. In the unlikely event that you have a complaint during your stay this should be brought to our attention as soon as possible in order to give us sufficient time to rectify the complaint. Complaints will not be considered after the end of your holiday with us.
Responsibility
The person making the booking confirms that he/she has the authority to do so on behalf of all of the members of the group and that he/she has read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions and has read and agreed to abide by the lake rules.
