    Beyond our expectations

    Fabulous family venue. Superb accommodation. Beautiful scenery. Martin and Shirley were very welcoming and even arranged a 'French experience' night out with local friends, which even included a guitar lesson for our daughter. Good fishing. Learnt a lot. Would highly recommend. Family holiday with fairweather day fishing only.Wife PB 24lbs 7 oz mirror and 11 year old Josh PB 22lb 7oz mirror. 7 fish in total banked during 4 afternoon sessions. Smallest 16lb 12oz common. Biggest 24lb 7oz mirror.

    Thought I'd died and gone to heaven. 2 PBs in 5 mins. 1 on bank and one in landing net. PB Birthday treat for Sandra, who fished 2 half days and caught 2 superb mirrors (30lb 8oz and 19lb 2oz.) Thoroughly enjoyed fishing short day sessions. Fishing short day sessions only. Mirrors - 36lb 11oz/32lb 2oz/30lb 8oz/29lb 14oz/28lb 9Leather - 27lb 14oz and a 19lb 2oz common. All pristine mint condition

    The little touches in the lodge made our holiday!

    5 star fishing with 5 star accommodation. Martin and Shirley were excellent hosts.

    Nothing is too much trouble - Simon. 
    Before I arrived I was thinking whether I was going to beat my PB, but to beat this three times in the first four hours was amazing! I enjoyed every minute of my time fishing the lake – Danny.  
    I would like to take this opportunity to thank you both for a fantastic weeks fishing and how good we thought the facilities were during our stay - Les. 
    Once again thanks for a great week, we all have great memories of the fishing & the new friends we have made - Barry. 
    I’m not going to recommend this lake to anybody else – I want to keep it for us - Tony

    Thanks for a great week. Highly recommend the food package. Martin and Shirley cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Always on hand but never intrusive. 20 fish. Six 30s and fourteen 20s. Largest 36lb 6oz (PB). Smallest 21lb.

    Martin and Shirley have clearly put a great deal of thought and hard work into producing this stunning venue. Although it is in it's infancy and the fishing is challenging this lake will develop into one of the best.  Our thanks go to Martin and Shirley for a wonderful week's fishing.

    We banked a total of 14 fish in excellent condition, with an average weight of 24 lb. Two superb commons and the rest mirrors with the biggest a lake record at 39lb 8oz.

    Perfect trip

    The whole trip from start to finish was without a doubt outstanding. Martin and Shirley have a lake and home to be proud of. The fishing was great. Fish in mint condition. Day 1 24lbs, 20lbs Mirrors, Day 2 22lbs, 22lbs Mirrors, Day3 20lbs mirror, Day4 27lbs 27lbs Mirrors, Day5 28lbs Mirror New Lake Record. 15lbs Mirror 23lbs Common. The beautiful lodge a bonus. This lake will become a great venue as it matures over the years.
