Nothing was too much trouble

We all express our appreciation for the food, the views of the lake and how clean the site was, and excellent facilitys which was a big bonus.
A very big thankyyou to Martin & Shirley. Mick Jones, Ron H Warr, Martyn Tuckey, Tom Jolly.
1 x 39lb 9oz & several singles/ Excellent hosts, nothing was to much trouble. All very friendly.

After my fantastic holiday & catch in June I didn't expect an equal catch at this time of year, it surpassed my expectations. Total of 23 fish = 565lb 8oz 16 x up to 25lb 4 x up to 28 07 including "The Legend" 3 x up to 32 08
Thank you to both Shirley & Martin for all the help & kindness during the week. Still remain at the high standard of previous years

Two Oakview 30’s in the week!. Plenty of mid-twenties. Hot weather reduced daytime takes so fish were mainly caught at night, early evening or early morning. Superb hosts, really enjoyable family friendly venue with a magical lake. Martin & Shirley made great effort to accommodate our baby Grace which made the holiday that more enjoyable. Thanks once again…… keep up the good work !!! 2 x 30's both mirrors, 8 x 20's commons and mirrors, 1 x 19lb 8oz.
Exceeded our expectations. Little additions much appreciated.
Fishing was very hard

Fishing was very hard - probably due to changing weather conditions & previous long period of no rain. Water level clearly down. 3 x common carp (during the day) - small. Accommodation excellent - very clean and well equipped

Fantastic venue. Everything you could want from a fishing holiday with beautiful surroundings. Martin + Shirley fantastic hosts which led to a very relaxing holiday. Would be more than happy to return (thanks again for our anniversary gift. It was most thoughtful). Michaela + Mark Boycott, Liam + Lewis. Only one fishing mostly, but occasionally 2. Mark - 22lb, 31lb.8oz, 25lb.8oz, 21lb.12oz. Liam - 22lb.8oz. All mirrors

Excellent week, fishing was great. Accommodation great, weather great. Martin & Shirley great. Cannot wait to come back, so relaxing. This was our 1st time fishing and really enjoyed the experience - Michelle & Paul.

Shane + Mandy will always come back. (As we was here last year and had 2 weeks this year, maybe 3 next year, we wish) Thank you for everything - Mandy & Shane
1 main fisherman, 2 others had a go and enjoyed it. 15 fish all over 20lb biggest 30lb 7oz. No small fish, all good condition.

Very nice holiday. We can see Martin and Shirley do very much for the place and it is very nice to see.
We will absolutely drive the trip again from Denmark (3000kms) to come here to fishing in the Paradise. Mirrors - 10 from 19lb 5oz to 23lb 11oz Commons - 3 from 17lb 14oz to 26lb 13oz. Have been here before. Will come back again

Once again many thanks to Martin & Shirley for a great week. We were blessed with fantastic weather (100degF late afternoon) and the accommodation was once again fantastic. 9 carp in total Mostly mirror 22lb to 27lb Biggest 28lb 12oz.
Fishing was still superb even in the heat! . Second visit (previously Oct 09) and facilities were all spot on
All very clean & healthy fish.

I have been to Oakview for 2 years now and have booked again for this year and 2011.

The facilities were clean and very comfortable as usual. Shirley & Martin are great friends and can't do enough for us. We keep in contact. Shirley takes pride in her lake and it is kept a haven. All swims are cut nice and clean/tidy it is a beautiful place. 7 carp 1st week 26 carp 2nd week 26 x 20lb+ up to 31.08lb - 6 commons the rest were mirrors All very clean & healthy fish.

Excellent accomodation, superb fishing. Martin & Shirley are fantastic hosts and work very hard to keep a high standard.

Superb venue & fishing. New PB's for all members of the party. The lodge is excellent along with the lake and all the fish are in mint condition.

Slow to start due to hot temp and spawning. With reduced weather conditions and reduced pressure produced fish. Shirley and Martin make a fantastic job of it. Good communication and excellent fishing tactics from Martin.

Re-booked again for next year

Less than 24 hours into our holiday and a 32lb 10oz PB for Stuart on the bank, a wonderfull start to a wonderfull weeks fishing. Re-booked again for next year. Total of 31 carp caught 19 between 21.04 and 24.11 10 between 25.05 and 28.09 2 x 30's, 32.10 and 33.06

Excellent facilities, stunning surroundings and really enjoyable fishing. On a very picturesque lake, we took the food package which was of the highest quality. Martin and Shirley are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble. All ready booked to come again this September and again next April for 2 weeks. I would strongly recommend Quest baits all my fish came on Rahja Spice, I also had the matching pellets and also Rahja Spice instant spod mix, which I personally think made the difference, I also had the matching boilie dip + bait soaks. I would also recommend approaching feeding as little first and then building up as the week goes on. The fish here at Oakview are a very good quality and give a very good fight all the way to the net. It is a bind to have to go home, but back soon. This is our 8th visit to France, but Gill and I agree this is by far the best we have visited.
